Baku builds bread factory on German technology

A bread factory with a capacity of 25 tons per day will be commissioned in August in the Sulutepe settlement, TEL representative Tofig Aliyev told journalists.

"Our company has a flour producing factory, whose capacity reaches 200 tons per day, and it was decided to open a bread factory to create new jobs," Aliyev said.

He added that contemporary German technologies will be applied at the factory.

A contract has already been signed with the supplier, and the equipment will be delivered to the factory in late May.

Construction of the factory will end in August, Aliyev said.

The project cost hits $1.5 million manat, one million manat of which has been granted at the expense of a preferential loan of the National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support.

The loan has been granted for a period of five years with a grace period of two years under the six percent per annum.

The official exchange rate is 0.7902 manat to $1 on May 20.
