The Silk Way Airlines has commissioned another Boeing 747-400 aircraft, the company told Trend on Monday.

It is the second aircraft of this type which has load capacity of about 110 tons.

The first aircraft was received in November 2010.

Along with the existing direct regular flights from Baku to Milan, Luxembourg, Hahn, Istanbul, Dubai and Shanghai, it is planned to open new flights to Seoul and Hong Kong twice a week

Next year another two cargo ships Boeing 767-300 will joint the fleet of the company.

The airline provides services on international cargo transportation in full compliance with ICAO standards.
