The travel time from Tbilisi to Batumi and Poti on the new electric train will be reduced since Jan 15. The General Director of Georgian Railway Irakli Ezugbaya said the travel time from Tbilisi to Batumi and back is 5 hours 40 minutes and it has been reduced by 30 minutes since January 5. Travel time from Tbilisi to Poti will reduce from 5 hours 40 minutes to 5 hours 15 minutes.
Mr Ezugbaya said that Georgian Railway is continuing to work in this direction.
