On June 16 the opening ceremony of the recently established Public Union "Young Entrepreneurs Network" was held. Several state officials, members of parliament, businessmen and representatives of non-governmental organizations participated at the ceremony, at Hilton Hotel.
The congratulatory letter of Leyla Alieva, Vice President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, General Coordinator of Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation, addressed to the event participants was delivered in the ceremony.
Leyla Aliyeva highly appreciated establishment of "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union and said: "I hope that "Young Entrepreneurs Network" will create favorable conditions for our entrepreneurs and will be beneficial for enhancement of cooperation between young entrepreneurs within the country, as well as in the international scale".
Khalig Ildirimzade, Chairman of the Union highlighted in his speech: "Our country's economy became the leading economy in the region under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, His Excellency Ilham Aliyev. The basis of strong economy is the society of skillful entrepreneurs. Young entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan should use the unprecedented opportunities existing in our economy, as well as their knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to expand their activities."
On behalf of the Union Khalig Ildirimzade expressed deep gratitude to Leyla Aliyeva for her support in the establishment of the organisation, and also for permanent and close attention paid to the youth of the country.
Attended to the ceremony, head of the State Committee for Work with Religious Agencies Elshad Iskandarov, Head of the Department of political analysis and information provision of the President Administration Elnur Aslanov and Head of Department of Foreign Relations of the President Administration Novruz Mammadov congratulated the participants on the occasion of establishment and appreciated the event as an important step in the development of young entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan.
Then the Vice-Chairman of the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union, Ilham Naghiyev, gave members the union membership certificates.
At the end of the event was read out congratulatory letters of the President of the Islamic Development Bank Ahmad Muhammad Ali and the President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Sheikh Salih bin Abdullah Kamil.
It should be noted the "Young Entrepreneurs Network" Public Union was established in November, 2011 as a result of a conference held in Baku at the International Center of Mugam initiated chief coordinator of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. The main activities of the Union are supporting the development of young entrepreneurship in the country, education entrepreneurs and improve their theoretical and practical skills, as well as attracting foreign investment for business development.
