State Agency for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan seized and destroyed about 360 kilograms of expired food products during the monitoring in Baku and other cities across the country, the agency said on Thursday.
"These violations related to improper storage of food, sale of expired products, sale of goods not conforming to the requirements of normative-technical documentation," the report says.
These violations were found in shops and stores of Binagadi, Yasamal, Sabunchu districts of Baku and Absheron, as well as in cities Sumgayyt, Masalli, Gadabay, Horadiz, Khachmaz.
