Turkey's Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan next week will arrive in Azerbaijan to attend a meeting of economic ministers of member countries of Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states, which will open in Baku on August 13, advisor to the minister Cevdet Kaledci told Trend on Thursday.
During the one-day visit Caglayan will hold meetings and discuss ways to promote economic cooperation among the Turkic-speaking countries.
The first meeting of economic ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states was held in the Kazakh capital Astana on October 13, 2011. It was attended by ministers and deputy ministers of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, who discussed issues of improvement of the investment climate, increase in economic diversification, development of transport corridors and entrepreneurship.
