ECObank allocates 1 million Euro for Iranian water drainage project

ECObank has paid 1 million Euro for establishing a water drainage system in west of Iran, IRIB reported.

This is the first part of a 16.89-million Euro loan which has been allocated by the ECObank to the project, which is scheduled to be completed by 2015, aiming to create about 10,000 jobs in the region.

Ecobank, whose official name is Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI), but is also known as Ecobank Transnational, is a pan-African banking conglomerate, with banking operations in 30 African countries.

It is the leading independent regional banking group in West Africa and Central Africa.

It also maintains subsidiaries in Eastern Africa, as well as in Southern Africa.

ETI has representative offices in Angola, China, Dubai, France, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
