Tbilisi International Airport could not take any international flights last night. As the airport administration told Trend, it failed to take flights from Kiev and Tel Aviv due to thick fog and the flight from Istanbul was cancelled.
Aircraft that were unable to land at Tbilisi Airport had to land at Yerevan.
By now all flights have finally arrived in Tbilisi and now the aircraft are preparing to fly back.
It should be noted that yesterday an Alitalia flight from Rome was unable to land, so diverted to Baku. The reason was the same, thick fog.
