An audit of the construction of all major hydropower plants will be conducted and expert opinion will be made public, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
"An audit of the construction of all major HPPs (hydroelectric power plants) will be conducted and all expert opinions will be made public. We will report on where we consider construction to be possible and where it is not," Ivanishvili said at a news conference in Tbilisi on Monday.
He said that as for medium and small sized hydropower plants, their construction will be welcomed and even encouraged.
