The executive authority of Sabail district of Baku announced a tender for purchasing works on clearing an area parceled out for extension of the Seaside Boulevard, a statement of the executive authority, released in the official press on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the works include the demolition of residential and commercial buildings in Bayil purchased for public needs.

According to the deputy chief of the Seaside Boulevard Administration under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nazim Majidov, the length of the boulevard itself now constitutes 6.5 kilometers, while the total length of the coastal rest area from the seaport terminal to Baku Crystal Hall is 14 kilometers.
