The shareholders of the Azerbaijani Insurance Company 'AtaSigorta' decided to increase the authorized capital of the company from 7.6 million manat to 10 million manat, CEO of the company Museib Aliyev told Trend.

According to him, Annual General Meeting of shareholders on the results of 2012 was held on June 13.

"The capital increase will be achieved at the expense of shareholders' additional funds," Aliyev said.

At the general meeting the shareholders heard the reports of the Board, the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee on the results of 2012. The shareholders approved the financial statements for 2012 which passed independent audit and received the auditor's report. They also took decisions on the allocation of net income to increase the authorized capital of the company.

Ata Sigorta, a part of AtaHolding, has been operating in the insurance market since 2004 and renders services on 22 types of voluntary and four types of compulsory insurance. The company is a founder and member of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau. It has four branches and four representative offices.
