The government of Kyrgyzstan will continue to support farmers and peasants of the country through the leasing of agricultural equipment and the provision of preferential credits, the press service of the Republic's government reported.

According to the report this was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Tayirbek Sarpashev on Tuesday.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that special equipments will be of great help in the daily work of the employees of forestry enterprises and nature reserves of the country.

According to him, in the last 20 years, Kyrgyzstan practically has not been involved in the modernization of the fleet of agricultural and special vehicles.

"Just recently, we launched a program jointly with the AyylBank to provide the country's peasant and farmer enterprises with agriculture equipment on leasing basis. The acquired equipment has been tested on the field and it proved itself," Sarpashev said.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, today some 30 tractors of 'Belarus' brand are being handed over to forestry enterprises and nature reserves in order to upgrade the special equipment fleet.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that this equipment is extremely necessary for the workers of the forestry enterprises, as the existing fleet of tractors and related special equipment is obsolete.

"The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic will further continue to support the peasants of the country through the leasing agricultural equipment and rigs, as well as through the provision of preferential credits," the Deputy Prime Minister said.
