The business talks were held between Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo in Ashgabat Oct. 23, who paid an official visit to the country, a source close to the negotiations told Trend.
The number of representatives of Japanese companies operating in Turkmenistan has been recently growing, Turkmen Dovlet Habarlary state news agency said.
The regular holding of business forums with the participation of Japanese and Turkmen businessmen and officials is also beneficial for mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
