Forty percent of the detailed design work on the reconstruction of the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant of Azerikimya production union of Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) in Sumgait has been completed, a source on the country's oil and gas market told Trend.
SOCAR's contactor on the detailed design and services for supporting the supply as part of the project is Technip Italy S.p.A.
"The contactor has implemented 40 percent of work, while the supply services are complete by 20 percent," said the source.
It is planned to carry out the work on reconstructing the Ethylene-Polyethylene plant in Sumgait in three states in 2016-2020.
