New Boeing 737-800 aircraft purchased for the Turkmen national fleet has arrived at the Ashgabat International Airport, the country’s government said in a message.
Turkmenistan received three Boeing 737-800 aircraft in 2013 and two Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft in 2014.
In April 2015, Turkmenistan decided to purchase three more Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Turkmenistan's partnership with Boeing began in 1992. Turkmenistan Airlines is actively using Boeing liners for international and domestic flights, while the outdated Soviet-style aircraft are put on sale.
Currently, Turkmenistan Airlines carries out flights to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, UK, France, Turkey, UAE, Germany, Thailand, China, India and other countries.
