One of shareholders of Azerbaijan's DemirBank increases share

Chairman of Supervisory Board at Azerbaijan’s DemirBank OJSC Rahman Hajiyev has increased his share in the bank’s share capital, according to the bank’s report for 1H2016.
Hajiyev’s share in DemirBank’s share capital increased from 19.61 percent to 19.72 percent, according to the report.
Major shareholder of DemirBank is the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the share of which is 25 percent. Meanwhile, the bank’s shareholders are the Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO, 10 percent), Asabali Hajiyev (9.65 percent), Roman Amirjanov (5.45 percent), Sakina Hajiyeva (5.3 percent), Konul Hajiyeva (5.3 percent). The remaining 19.58 percent of DemirBank's shares are owned by other individuals and legal entities.
According to the results of the 1H2016, DemirBank’s share capital amounted to 21 million manats (1.7369 AZN/USD on Dec. 7), aggregate capital – 48.57 million manats. As of July 1, 2016, DemirBank’s assets were 538.1 million manats, liabilities – 489.53 million manats. During the period, loan portfolio of the bank amounted to 375.23 million manats, deposit portfolio – 188.24 million manats.
DemirBank OJSC started to operate in 1989 in Azerbaijan.
