Kazakh Nurbank sees increase in income

Kazakhstan’s Nurbank had 1.5 billion tenges of income in 2016 as compared to 974.25 million tenges in 2015, according to the bank’s financial statements posted on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The operating income of the bank reached 39.62 billion tenges in 2016 compared to 10.74 billion tenges in 2015.
The bank’s assets increased from 321.18 billion tenges in the beginning of 2016 to 382.33 billion tenges at the end of the year.

The capital of the bank increased from 39.93 billion tenges to 41.83 billion tenges in January-December 2016. Its liabilities increased from 281.26 billion tenges to 340.5 billion tenges in the reporting period.

Nurbank, founded in 1992, is one of the largest private banks in Kazakhstan. Nurbank is a universal financial institution providing a wide range of banking and other financial services to corporate clients, SMEs and individuals.
