Kazakh region to build wheat-processing plant

Agro-Bio-Auliekol LLP plans to build a wheat-processing plant worth about 1.5 billion tenge in Kostanay region, and 236 million from the total amount has already been invested in the project, said Murat Shaimov, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the region, during the meeting of the local executive body (akimat).
"Agro-Bio-Auliekol LLP currently works on the construction of a feed mill of the plant, and the equipment has partially been installed. The akimat of the district has provided the company with an additional land plot for the infiltration fields,” said Shaimov, Kazakh media outlets reported.
Generally, the regional administration aims to commission new projects, and to attract investments in the manufacturing industry worth 18.5 billion tenge. Thus far, 71 percent has been already attracted.
The list of projects, receiving official support of the akimat includes the construction of a bread factory. The local akimat provided the Tobyl Nan LLP with 2 hectares of a land plot. The project is worth 900 million tenge.
