By Rufiz Hafizoglu – Trend:

Government of Turkey is preparing new incentive measures to support people who purchase real estate for the first time, a source in the Cabinet of Ministers told Trend Jan. 16.

Earlier, in order to support Turkish citizens, the government developed a package of incentive measures, within which the state provided citizens with a gratuitous amount of 15,000 liras for the purchase of real estate.

“However, the proposed method was not attractive for Turkish citizens,” the source said.

It is expected that after the new incentive measures are developed, the gratuitous amount will be increased to 20,000 liras.

(3.7661 liras = $1 on Jan. 16)
