Turkmenistan plans to harvest 1.6 million tons of grain from 760,000 hectares of land this year, the Turkmen government said in a message.
It is planned to harvest 450,000 tons of grain in the Akhal province, 380,000 tons in the Mary province, 350,000 tons in the Lebap province, 300,000 tons in the Dashoguz province and 120,000 tons in the Balkan province.
In July 2017, it was reported that Turkmenistan harvested about one million tons of wheat.
