Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC has completed implementation of the direction “Rental housing with redemption rights” under the state program of preferential mortgage “Nurly Jer”, the company said in a message.
Aysultan Akchurin, deputy chairman of the board of the Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC, said that more than 1 million square meters of rental housing have been commissioned with redemption rights in 20 cities of the country, given a plan of 972,000 square meters for the end of 2018.
“The budget of the general construction pool amounted to 163.3 billion tenges,” he noted. “The main part of this money was received from the National Fund of Kazakhstan on a return basis. We received 19.1 billion tenges from the republican budget and 29.2 billion tenges in the form of replenishment of the authorized capital. All this money is involved in Kazakhstan’s economy.”
The program gave a powerful impetus to the development of the Kazakh construction industry, he added. Akchurin said that more than 30,000 new jobs have been created.
“In close cooperation with local executive bodies, for the years of the program’s work, housing has been distributed among over 17,000 people on waiting lists, and this together with their families makes more than 50,000 people across the country,” Akchurin said.
By the end of the year, it is planned to commission another 40,000 square meters of housing in Kostanay, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk and Uralsk cities of Kazakhstan.
