Uzbekistan to use German experience to improve Tashkent's infrastructure

Uzbekistan will use German experience to improve and modernize the infrastructure of Tashkent, the press service of the capital's administration announced.

On Sept. 11-13, head of the capital's administration Jahongir Artykkhojayev visited Berlin at the invitation of Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Muller. The meeting ended with a number of agreements that would make it possible to use the German experience for Tashkent.

According to the announcement, on Sept. 19 Artykkhojayev met with Executive Director of Mangold Consulting LLC, Chairman of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations Klaus Mangold.

At the meeting, the sides expressed their confidence that the visit will allow reaching certain mutually beneficial agreements contributing to development of the Uzbek-German relations.

Established in 1952, the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations has extensive experience in improving the working conditions of German companies in Eastern and Southern Europe, Russia and Central Asia. One of its priorities is the support of medium-sized businesses.
