The Garadagh plant for the production of modern building materials of the AAS company intends to expand its export potential in 2019, the Assistant to General Director and the Leading Export Manager at Synergy Group AAC (Gobustone/Modern Building Materials Plant) Rafig Maharramov told Trend.

He said the company intends to expand exports primarily to the CIS countries.

"We are looking for clients in Russia in order to supply our products.Next year, we are going to set up cooperation with our potential importers outside the country," Maharramov said.

The leading manager noted that the main export products of the plant are bricks and aerated autoclaved concrete blocks designed for the construction of large facilities and residential areas.

"The construction materials of our plant were used in the construction of a number of large facilities in Baku and the regions of Azerbaijan. At the moment, our products are mainly exported to Georgia and in small quantities to Kazakhstan, but the company plans to expand the volume of supplies to these countries," Maharramov said.

The Trend’s source said, in addition to brick and aerated autoclaved concrete blocks, the plant produces autoclaved aerated concrete, quicklime and slaked lime, as well as quartz sand.

The leading manager noted that the plant’s products comply with international quality standards and environmental requirements; they are fireproof and resistant to external influences.

Gobustan AAC is situated in the Sangachal settlement of Garadagh district of Baku. The annual production capacity of the plant is 180,000 cubic meters of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks and 30,000 cubic meters of lime. The plant is a part of the SYNERGY GROUP.

The Gobustone autoclaved aerated concrete blocks produced using the German equipment of Wehrhahn brand are distinguished from other materials by their lightness, seismic resistance, durability, high heat and sound insulation, and environmental friendliness. They can be easily processed by using conventional tools, which greatly speeds up the construction process.

Currently, the products made of autoclaved aerated concrete are used in the construction of multi-story and low-rise buildings, private houses, in laying external and internal walls, ceilings and even steps.

The Gobustone autoclaved aerated concrete blocks were used in the construction of such facilities as Port Baku Residence and Port Baku Tower, 28 Mall, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, National Gymnastics Arena, State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, the Shahdag summer-winter tourism center in Gusar, the Galaalty recreation center in Shabran and the Rixos Hotel in Guba.
