Iran's Sangan Iron Ore Complex (SIOC) has deposits of over one billion tons, the director of the complex Murtaza Hashimpour said at a meeting held jointly with investment companies and Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Trend reports via Iranian media.
SIOC mines have over 30 percent of Iran's iron ore deposits, Hashimpour said.
In terms of the Comprehensive Steel Plan SIOC has 22 percent share, he added.
Comprehensive Steel Plan was established in 2014 on the initiative of IMIDRO and the National Iranian Steel Company to achieve the goals set by the Iran's Vision 2025 development program and improve the country's steel industry.
Vision 2025 is based on the Islamic and revolutionary mentality and with plan Iran aims to become an example for the Islamic world and rank first in the region's of economics, science and technology, basing on a constructive and effective understanding of international relations.

Fars İnformasiya Agentliyinin məlumatına görə, bu sözləri İranın Sənqan Metal-Filizi (iron ore) Kompleksinin direktoru Murtaza Haşimpur investisiya şirkətləri və İranın Mədənlər və Mədən Sənayesinin İnkişafı və Yenilənməsi Təşkilatı IMIDRO rəsmilərinin iştirak etdiyi iclasda deyib.
Onun sözlərinə görə, İranın metal-filizi ehtiyatının 30%-dən çoxu Sənqan mədənlərindədir.
Haşimpur əlavə edib: Sənqan Əhatəli Polad Layihəsində metal-filizinin təmininində 22% paya malikdir.
Əhatəli Polad Layihəsi 2014-cü ildə İranın polad sənayesinin inkişafı, 2025-ci il perspektiv sənədinin qarşıya qoyduğu məqsədləri əldə etmək istiqamətində IMIDRO və İranın Milli Polad Şirkətinin təşəbbüsü ilə yaradılıb.
