Agro-industrial zone to appear in Kazakhstan's Pavlodar region

An agro-industrial zone including large processing enterprises in an area of 1,000 hectares will be created in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports referring to the Kazakh media.

Social-Entrepreneurial Corporation Pavlodar is working on the project to create the agro-industrial zone. The head of the region Bulat Bakauov familiarized himself with the locating plan of the new complex. A territory near Aksu city has been allocated for the construction of the agro-industrial zone.

"We are developing the design and estimate documentation for electricity, and we will implement water, heat and sewerage supply," said Renat Tlyavkayev, the head of the Aksu city Entrepreneurship Department.

He added that six entrepreneurs have already decided to locate their enterprises in the new industrial zone. They include Greenhouse Complex LLP for cucumber growing, a brick factory, Mineral Industry Group LLP for gravel processing, enterprises for concrete block and curbstone production.

In addition, the agropark of the agro-industrial zone will include a plant for the production of feed for farm animals, a wholesale and distribution center, premises for small enterprises for processing, sorting and packaging of agricultural products.
