Chocolate branded "Turkistan" may appear in Kazakhstan

A workshop for the production of chocolate glaze and chocolate was commissioned in the Tole Bi district of Kazakhstan’s Turkistan region, Trend reports referring to the press service of the region’s administration.

A working group headed by the Governor of the region Zhanseit Tuymebayev visited the workshop of Balmuzdak LLP.

It should be noted that last year the company exported 8,700 kilograms of ice cream to Uzbekistan in the amount of 6.1 million tenge. Today, the company has the most modern equipment and produces more than 80 types of ice cream.

After reviewing the work of the enterprise, Tuymebayev proposed to the management of the plant to establish the production of chocolate under the Turkistan brand, which should positively affect the image of the region. The staff of the enterprise expressed readiness to start implementation of this idea.

It should be noted that today there are 8,211 business entities in the Tole Bi district. Products worth 32 billion tenge were output in the sphere of industry last year, which is 27.3 percent more compared to 2017.
