Azerbaijani ministry’s revenues from exchange operations exceed 170M AZN

According to the results of 2018, the revenues of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan from exchange operations amounted to 177.29 million manats, Trend reports referring to data provided by the ministry.

The ministry’s revenues from non-stock operations amounted to 38.87 million manats.

The total expenses of the ministry amounted to 216.3 million manats. In the structure of expenditures, wage deductions in aggregate with deductions for state social insurance amounted to 2.73 million manats. The costs associated with financial assistance and other transfers amounted to about 212.66 million manats, and about 108,500 manats was spent on used materials. The cost of depreciation amounted to 161,300 manats, while other operating expenses amounted to 649,100 manats.

The report also notes that funds in the amount of 155.16 million manats, which are in the column of exchange operating income, as well as in expenditure indicators related to financial assistance and other transfers, were allocated by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) for the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project. It is planned to use these funds in the current and subsequent years.
