“Today, we have to buy a 100 ml perfume for $100, while Iran sells a barrel of oil for $50. So, next time you want to buy a perfume, you should know that two barrels of oil have been sold for purchase of a 100 ml bottle of perfume,” Iran's vice president said, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"In the last four years, we have been trying to strengthen the country's industry," Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari said at the Peugeot 301 trial launch ceremony.
“The factory is not the industry; but the design is developed by the industry, and we need highly qualified personnel," he said. “Iran has a great potential in human resources. There are 33 million young people aged 20 to 40 years old including four million students in Iran.”
Sattari went on to say that the country have to leave the crude oil business.
"Iran should use modern technology and launch knowledge-based companies,” he added. “We have a list of sanctions items in the Presidential Science and Technology Department and we will provide support to the companies that can produce those items in the country.”
