Iran exported 141,000 tons goods via Bileh Savar border

Iran has exported 141,000 tons of goods via Bileh Savar border by 6,365 trucks in current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), said the managing director of Ardebil Provincial Department of Road Maintenance and Transportation, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The volume of goods has increased 19 percent comparing to same period of last Iranian year (started March 21,2018), while exports Iranian goods has grown by 35 percent ," added Ali Rahmati. .

"During this period, 9,000 tax exemption certificates were issued for Iran and Azerbaijan citizens. More than 510,000 visitors passed through Bileh Savar border. Among them, 464,399 were foreigners and the rest were Iranians. The number of arrivals and departures at this terminal increased by 23 percent, and this makes Bileh Savar the fifth top terminal in the country," he noted.

"Total of 31,287 vehicles including trucks, buses and cars were transported via the border terminal, which is six-percent growth compared to last Iranian year," he addded.

Bileh Savar is located in north of Ardebil province and is the only international terminal in the province.
