Azerbaijani producer to export wine to neighboring country

Azerbaijan’s Sheki winery will soon begin to export wine to Russia, director of the winery Vidadi Hasanov told Trend.

The winery has already received the orders from Russian partners for the supply of popular types of wine.

"We intend to start to export wine to Russia in the coming month,” Hasanov added. “Presently, we are discussing the details of supplies with Russian partners. At the same time, we are holding the talks with Belarusian partners. We plan to export wine to this market by the end of the year."

He stressed that the plant intends to supply wine to the new sales market steadily.

The Sheki winery was founded in 2006 with a design annual production capacity of 210,000 decalitres, that is, 280,000 bottles of wine per year.

The winery has been provided with equipment of the Italian company "Della Toffola".

The grape reception workshop, workshops for the production and bottling of various types of wine are operating in the winery.

Two bunkers for receiving white and red grape varieties are installed at the enter[rise. There are also two lines for the production of white and red wine and a special line for the production of elite types of wine.
