For the seven months of 2019, the Uzbek company Akhangarantsement produced about 1.1 million tons of cement, which is 29 percent more than in the same period last year, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
The company shipped 34 percent more products to its consumers and reached a record monthly shipment: in July 2019, 190,349 tons of cement were shipped to consumers, which was the best result since 2013.
The growth in production and shipping indicators was also noticed in the quarry of the plant: in January-July, when more than a million tons of limestone were mined.
Akhangarantsement OJSC is one of the leading cement industry enterprises in Uzbekistan. Since 2006, it has been part of the Eurocement Group holding.
The company produces various types of cement, refractory bricks and other products.
Eurocement Group is an international cement company, the largest in terms of cement production in the Russia. Holding assets are located in Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
