Cotton fiber accounts for 76% of Uzbek Commodity Exchange exports

The deals concluded on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) for the period from August 26 to September 1, 2019, amounted to 846.6 billion soums, Trend reports with reference to UZEX.

The total amount of transactions involving small businesses and private enterprises amounted to 462.2 billion soums.

The volume of exchange trading on the platform amounted to 726.9 billion soums.

At the foreign exchange trading platform, exported goods worth $2.7 million were sold. In the export structure, the share of different grades of cotton fiber occupied 76 percent and polyethylene took 24 percent.

The volume of exhibition and fair trade last week amounted to 29.3 billion soums. The amount of goods purchased by small businesses amounted to 17.2 billion soums, or 58.9 percent of the total amount of transactions.

Last week, transactions worth 87.2 billion soums were concluded through xarid.uz, a special information portal on public procurement. This amounts to 12.7 percent growth compared to the previous week.The total amount of savings from budgetary and corporate customers exceeded 18.8 billion soums, with growth compared to the previous week by 9.5 percent.

During the period under review, 741 car license plates were sold through an online auction.

The cumulative amount of sold state license plates was about 3.3 billion soums.

As a result of competitive bidding, 24 percent of deals were made on premium class license plates, 48.7 percent of deals on category 2 and 30.9 percent on category 3 of license plates.
