The construction of a new plant for the production of cosmetic products is planned to be launched in Azerbaijan till late 2019, Head of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan Sakina Babayeva told Trend.
“The issue is the production of hair dye,” she said.
"The plant will be built in Azerbaijan’s Sumgait city,” Babayeva said. “Presently, the project envisaging the construction of a new plant is completely prepared. The project is estimated at 1.2 million manats. This is a private investment project which is funded by one of the female entrepreneurs, who is a member of the association."
“According to the preliminary calculations, the construction work will begin by December 2019,” she added.
The Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan was established with the support of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs of Azerbaijan in October 2017.
Over 143,000 women are engaged in business activity in Azerbaijan, according to the statistics.
