To date, 2,756 farmers have bought mineral fertilizers on favorable terms via the field sales in Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture.
The field sales of mineral fertilizers were organized in 240 villages. They will continue till the end of 2019.
Some 461 farmers bought mineral fertilizers via the field sales organized in 57 villages last week.
Azerbaijan’s Agroleasing OJSC has launched the field sale of seasonal mineral fertilizers, in particular ammophos and azophoska, on favorable terms since September in the villages located far from the regional centers.
Residents can purchase fertilizers at a 70-percent discount by presenting the necessary documents.
