BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 25

By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:

The export volume of Iran's non-oil products must reach $48 billion next year (beginning on March 21, 2020) in accordance with the set goals, Iran's Vice-President and Chairman of the Plan and Budget Organization Mohammad Baqir Nobakht said.

“The export volume of Iran's non-oil products has reached $24 billion,” Nobakht added, Trend reports referring to IRIB.

The vice-president said that the US imposed sanctions on Iran and the country can't easily get currency obtained from oil export.

"Therefore, the export volume of Iran's non-oil products must increase," Nobakht said.

The vice-president said that Iran’s revenues obtained from oil export reached more than $50 million in the previous years.

Nobakht said that Iran's non-oil products are exported to 15 neighboring countries and the export volume must increase.

Iran exported non-oil products worth $24.4 billion from March 21 through October 22.

The export volume of Iranian non-oil products increased by 17.1 percent while the export value decreased by 11 percent from March 21 through October 22 compared to the same period of last year.
