BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 14
By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:
Since the beginning of this Iranian year (March 21, 2019), activities of 14 industrial facilities in industrial parks of Iran’s Bushehr province have resumed, thanks to investments worth 87 billion rials (about $2 million), said Managing Director of Industrial Townships Company of Bushehr Province Mehdi Safavi, Trend reports via IRNA.
Safavi noted that 239 people were employed with the launch of these industrial facilities, adding that the industrial facilities are engaged in packaging of foodstuffs, metallic, non-metallic and chemical products.
Last Iranian year (March 21, 2018 - March 21, 2019), 214 people were employed with the resumption of activity of 19 industrial facilities in Bushehr province, the managing director added.
Safavi said that the decline in sales, liquidity and capital shortage, as well as management problems caused these facilities to cease operations.
Iran’s Bushehr province has 2,050 industrial facilities, and 1,530 of them are operating.
