It is planned to open a livestock processing center in Azerbaijan’s Gadabay district in March 2020, Head of the Women Entrepreneurs Association Sakina Babayeva told Trend.
This will be the third center for processing livestock products in the country. Similar enterprises on washing and cleaning sheep’s wool and hides are planned to be created in the Imishli and Bilasuvar districts in the second half of 2020. This step is aimed at exporting processed livestock products. Turkey is considered as a potential market.
In the future, it is planned to open such points in country’s ten districts through the association and with the direct support of the state, Babayeva said.
Women Entrepreneurs Association of Azerbaijan was created with the support of country’s State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs in October 2017.
