The volume of revenues received by mobile operators in the Azerbaijani Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) from January through February 2020 amounted to 7.6 million manat ($4.4 million), Trend reports referring to Nakhchivan State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the revenues of the mobile communications sector increased by almost 2.7 percent during the reporting period compared to the same period of 2019, and amounted to about 19 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market. Meanwhile, the total revenues of the telecommunications market stood at 9.3 million manat ($5.4 million).
Over the reporting period, the cost of information and communication services in real terms increased by 1.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
Information and communication services worth 9.3 million manat ($5.4 million) were provided to the population and organizations in Nakhchivan AR during January-February 2019, which is 2.9 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
In 2019, information and communication services in the amount of 52.8 million manat ($31 million) were provided to the population and organizations in Nakhchivan, which is 2.8 percent more compared to 2018.
