Azerbaijan exported about 2,200 tons of liquefied natural gas in January 2020, which is 64.4 percent less compared to the same period in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
The total value of liquefied gas exported from Azerbaijan during the reporting period stood at $517,000, or 52.3 percent less as compared to the same period last year, according to the report of the State Statistics Committee.
The country has exported 1.31 million cubic meters of natural gas, or 1.3 times more than in the same period last year.
The value of natural gas exported from Azerbaijan stood at $271.4 million, or 2.7 percent more as compared to the same period in 2019.
Azerbaijan exported around 52,900 tons of liquefied gas in 2019, or 18.4 percent less as compared to the same period in 2018.
The country exported 12.5 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2019, which is 1.6 times more than in 2018. Azerbaijan exported 78,916 tons of liquefied gas in 2018, or 8.6 percent more compared to 2017. The country exported 6.45 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2018, which is 5.6 percent more compared to 2017.
