By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Georgian fruit processing company Caucasus Organic Fruits has exported up to 10 tons of dried fruit to Russia, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The marketing and sales manager of the company Salome Alania said that the pandemic has not had a negative impact on the company and aside from Russia, they are in negotiations with the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

"We export the dried fruit by weight and we expect to deliver already packaged products under the brand name of Magritto to Czech Republic later in June," noted Alania.

The company also receives orders from China and Germany.

"Because of the increased demand, we decided to expand the production. We've also ordered machines, that will double our productivity," stated Alania.

As reported, apart from Europroduct, the company's products will soon appear in Goodwill's stores.

"The main office works distantly. As for the enterprise, which is located in the village Misaktsieli of Mtskheta Municipality, local people are employed there, therefore they are able to come to the enterprise," noted Alania.

The product under this brand entered the Georgian market in December of 2019.
