Kazakhstan taking measures to improve business climate

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jun. 29

By Nargiz Sadikhova - Trend:

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym Jomart Tokayev singed a decree on ‘Introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on improving the business climate’, Trend reports with reference to the press office of Kazakhstan’s president.

The decree was signed today, Jun. 29, 2020.

Kazakhstan’s Minister of National Economy said earlier this year that the amendments include transition of some services to electronic format, abolishing use of some documents.

All this is expected to simplify the procedure for registration and reduce the risks of dubious transactions in the real estate market.

In order to simplify the procedure for connecting to electricity networks in Nur-Sultan, cities of republican and regional significance, the acceptance of applications for the issuance of technical conditions will now be carried out in electronic form.

In addition, to reduce the number of procedures, the principle of a ‘single window’ is to be introduced to connect business entities to power networks with a capacity below 200 kW. Another innovation is measures to develop a competitive environment.
