The foreign trade turnover of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan totaled over $79.7 million from January through March 2021, having risen by 12.3 percent compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the monthly report of Nakhchivan State Statistical Committee.
“In the structure of foreign trade turnover of the autonomous republic, the value of exports made up over $53.8 million, increasing by 0.6 percent over the year.
At the same time, imports of Nakhchivan in the structure of the foreign trade turnover amounted to $25.8 million.
According to the committee, the retail trade turnover in Nakhchivan in the first quarter of this year amounted to 310.4 million manat ($182.5 million), which is 1.7 percent less compared to the same period of 2020.
