The volume of produced goods and services from January through May 2021 in Baku amounted to 15.2 billion manat ($8.9 billion), Trend reports on June 30 referring to the City Statistical Department.
According to the source, 75.8 percent of the goods were manufactured in the mining industry, 20.8 percent - in processing, 2.7 percent - in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, 0.7 percent - in water supply, waste treatment, and recycling sector.
The share of the non-state sector in the total production volume equaled 83.2 percent, while the share of industrial products amounted to 90.5 percent, and industrial services – 9.5 percent.
As of June 1, 2021, a stock of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises amounted to 317.7 million manat ($186.8 million).
The warehouses of industrial enterprises also store products purchased from other enterprises and intended for resale in the amount of 61.9 million manat ($36.4 million).
The volume of industrial goods and services in Baku over 2020 amounted to 29.7 billion manat ($17.4 billion), down 4.8 percent compared to 2019.
