Ajap Onum economic society, Turkmenistan manufacturer of brake pads for passenger cars, is negotiating the export of its products to Uzbekistan, Trend reports citing the press service of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
It is noted that the Uzbek partners were attracted by the price-quality ratio of the goods of the enterprise located in the Vekilbazar district of the Mary region.
According to the information, Ajap Onum is capable of annually producing 300,000 sets of pads, which are suitable for use on most cars operated in Turkmenistan.
In addition, the company pays great attention to the environmental friendliness of products that went on sale on the domestic market on the eve of 2020.
Also, it is reported that the brake pads of the company received a certificate of conformity from the Turmenstandartlary Main State Service in December 2019.
Earlier it was reported that the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan amounted to $351.8 million from January through July 2021.
Uzbek exports to Turkmenistan amounted to $100.9 million in the reporting period. Also, in 7M2021, Uzbekistan imported products of Turkmen manufacture for a total of $250.9 million.
At the same time, Uzbekistan imported various Turkmen products totaling $206.6 million in 1H2021.
