Two Turkmen companies receive international certificates - UIET

The Turkmen socks manufacturer IE Batly Gadam, and the sea transport company, EC Turkmen Deniz Hyzmatlary both were awarded the ISO certificates, Trend reports via the Turkmen Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET).

Companies that obtain ISO certification demonstrate that their products, services, or systems satisfy the agreed-upon specifications.

Batly Gadam, a UIET member, is a sole proprietorship based in Turkmenistan’s Balkan region. The company began operations in 2010 and constructed a new textile production plant for the production of high-quality cotton yarns and socks eight years later.

The enterprise received certificates for an integrated quality management system - ISO 9001: 2015, environmental management - ISO 14001: 2015, and health protection and labor safety - ISO 45001: 2018 in December 2021, as a confirmation of the company's sustainable development strategy in the fields of quality, ecology, and labor protection.

The company distributes its products in both domestic and foreign markets. Turkey, Kazakhstan, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia are the main exporters of cotton socks.

Turkmen Deniz Hyzmatlary, a company that repairs ships, mechanical and electrical equipment, entered the market in 2012. The organization provides ship agency services as well as consultancy in a variety of fields. It is in charge of passenger and cargo transportation, as well as dredging, supplying equipment and spare parts, and providing ships.

The company completed a certification audit in December 2021 in accordance with international quality management systems ISO 9001: 2015 and occupational health and safety - ISO 45001: 2018.
