BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) has increased by 66 percent, during the first 3 months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through June 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the company’s website.
In total, the company manufactured 147,033 cars in three months.
Within 3 months, Iran Khodro manufactured 145,168 passenger cars and 1,855 heavy and medium tonnage trucks.
Meanwhile, in the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21), the company manufactured 60,783 passenger cars, which is an increase of 68 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
On June 21 alone, the company manufactured 3,166 passenger cars.
