BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. Iran exported 1.9 million tons of non-oil products worth $724 million to Iraq through the Parvizkhan border checkpoint in the Kermanshah Province (western Iran), during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through January 20, 2023), Director General of the Parvizkhan border checkpoint Ghasem Motallebi told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to the director general, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, biscuits, metal and rubber products, ceramics, etc. were the main exported goods via the mentioned checkpoint in 10 months.

Motallebi added that on average, 600-700 trucks per day cross through Parvizkhan customs to Iraq. The mentioned volume of non-oil products were exported by 102,444 trucks.

Iran’s Parvizkhan border checkpoint is located on the border with Iraq. Over 40 percent of Iran's non-oil exports to Iraq are carried out through this checkpoint.

In general, there are 2 border checkpoints and 5 border markets in Iran’s Kermanshah Province. More than $3 billion worth of non-oil products are exported through the mentioned checkpoints and border markets annually.
