BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. Iran's non-oil exports increased by 2.9 percent in value and 17 percent in volume, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through January 20, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Mohammad Rezvanifar said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Rezvanifar, Iran exported more than 103 million tons of non-oil products worth $45.3 billion in 10 months.

The director general added that the average value of each ton of products exported in 10 months was $440, which is 14 percent more than in the same period last year. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at $385.

He also said that the main exported product for 10 months was liquefied natural gas (LNG) worth $6.8 billion, which accounted for 15 percent of the country's total non-oil exports.

“Within 10 months, Iran exported non-oil products worth $12.6 billion to China, $8.9 billion to Iraq, $6.6 billion to Türkiye, $4.8 billion to the UAE and $1.6 billion to India. The mentioned 5 countries accounted for 76 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports for 10 months in terms of value,” Rezvanifar noted.

Generally, Iran's foreign trade turnover amounted to over 134 million tons worth $93.8 billion in 10 months.

Reportedly, Iran's non-oil exports exclude only crude oil, white oil, and mazut products.
