BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 7. In total, 57,000 tons of non-oil products worth $37 million were exported through Iran’s Khorramabad port in Lorestan Province in the west of the country, during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023), an official of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Lorestan Province, Mohammad Tulabi told IRNA, Trend reports.

Tulabi noted that the non-oil exports via Khorramabad port for the reporting period increased by 35 percent in value while decreasing by 45 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The official added that a total of 40 types of products, mainly petrochemical products, mining minerals, rubber, agricultural products, and so on were exported through Khorramabad port in 11 months.

He said that the mentioned goods were exported to 23 countries, including Türkiye, Bulgaria, Iraq, Poland, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and others.

According to Tulabi, overall, $240 million worth of non-oil products were exported from Iran’s Lorestan Province for eleven months.

Meanwhile, in the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), the value of the province’s non-oil exports was $392 million, the official also pointed out.

In general, Iran exported over 111 million tons of non-oil products worth $48.8 billion within the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through February 19, 2023). This is an increase of 12.2 percent in value, while a decrease of 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
