In order to draw the new strategy on agriculture, culture and tourism a next regional meeting was led in Lankaran under the State Program for Poverty reduction and Sustainable Development развиС'РёСЏ. Trend reports with reference to organization committee of NGO В"Center of resources, trainings and researches on social developmentВ" that at the meeting were partaking representatives from Lankaran, Lerik and Astara, international organizations and ministries. This strategy will serve the basis for new program SPRRED.
Regarding culture and tourism, the participants discussed plans for establishment of workshops and schools on the basis of Houses of Culture in Baku with the purpose of national handcrafting protection, setup of culture development agencies, compilation of list of cultural items and routes, etc.
Regarding youth and sports sector, the participants discussed proposals to be included in the strategy, in particular discounts for youth mortgage credits, creation of conditions for obtaining long- and short-term credits.
Meetings with public representatives are held as an assistance to the project from Asian Development Bank and UNDP.
